Jonathan Roumie, a child who created a crucifix in his backyard at age 11, never knew he would be portraying Jesus in a show that has defied the odds. Jonathan plays Jesus Christ in The Chosen, the first multi-season series about the life of Christ which has broken records to become the highest crowdfunded media project of all time and critically lauded. He also starred in the movie Jesus Revolution, which is about the Jesus movement of the 1960s and ’70s. Hallow has partnered with Jonathan Roumie several times, including to record a 30-Day Gospel Challenge, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the Sacred Heart Novena, and the Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic.
