Deacon James Keating is an award-winning author, a speaker, a professor of spiritual theology at Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, and a member of the Academy of Catholic Theology. He is in the Archdiocese of Omaha, where he previously served as their Director of the Office of the Diaconate from 2011 to 2020. He also held the position of Director of Theological Formation in the Institute for Priestly Formation at Creighton University. Deacon Keating received his Ph.D. in Roman Catholic Theology from Duquesne University, his master’s degree in religious studies from Fordham University, and his B.A in religious studies from Siena College. He is married to Marianne, and they have three sons—Kristoffer, Jonathan and Liam—and a daughter, Ina.
