Bio:

Esther Garcia develops and coordinates effective community outreach with Catholic (arch)dioceses, parishes, and communities to support meaningful participation of individuals with disabilities in the Catholic Church and to enrich a varied audience on catechesis and cultural diversity. Esther holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master catechist certificate. She also has a certificate in Bible studies as well as training in pastoral formation and catechetical leadership from the Diocese of Dallas. She has 30 years of experience as a catechist and a community and ecclesial volunteer, and she has worked as a Faith Formation Director at Sacred Heart Parish, Diocese of Dallas and a teacher at Autism Treatment Center of Dallas. Esther specializes in leading catechetical programs for children, youth, adults, and families. In addition, she has experience in early childhood and multicultural communities. Esther was honored with the William Sadlier Dinger Award for Outstanding Leadership in Hispanic Ministry and Catechesis at the National Congress of Raíces y Alas 2022.
